Ive seen muuuuch worse preformences who get an s/s+. i was in a game with a 7 and 6 blits who got an s so can someone explain why i cant get one with diana no matter how well i do?

7 wards in a 37 minute game is not 'really well'. 165 CS in a 37 minute game isn't very good either. That's an average of 2 creeps per wave (4 / min).

  1. I recommend you RTFM before saying it's not an accurate system. It is a comparison on how well you do against (in this case) other Mid Lane Dianas. So even if you do super duper amazing, but if it is a champion that EVERYONE does EXTREMELY well on, you'll have issues getting S ranks.
  2. 7 wards placed in a 37 minute game is awful (sorry)
  3. 154 CS in a 37 minute game feels low (despite the link in #4 showing you did 35 better).
  4. You can check how well you did at sites like this one. According to that site, you only did 65% better than the average Mid Lane Diana. This is not enough to get an S. I tend to see S ranks when I get ~100% better than the average. However, this site doesn't seem to take into account how long the game is. I do not know if this is also true for the Mastery system, or if that is more of a X per minute grading.

My first suggestion is warding more, and your 6 deaths likely hurt you.

One other thing I've noticed with that site, is that it doesn't seem to be accurate for multi-role champions.

My CS is always (or mostly) really high on Top lane J4. Which is because he's typically played jungle and has much lower CS. Likewise, Diana is played jungle a lot, so her average CS on that website is quite a bit lower than it should be.

Good point. I noticed that on Morgana as well (I support main). Thanks for bringing it up. It is a starting point at least.

S is not reward for getting many kills. S is reward for perfect or almost perfect performance in all aspects of game during match. Your ability to farm properly, to ward properly, to control neutral objectives, to control objectives like turrets and inhibitors. To clear wards. Your Diana game:

37 minutes game 154 farm- should be 250+ for that time 7 wards. Freaking only 7 wards entire game. Thats 1 ward every 5 mins. Trinket has cooldown of 2 minutes on average. In 37 minutes, you could have and SHOULD have placed at least 18 wards.

Worst part? EVen tho u were dominating and controlling map, your lane opponent had twice your warding count.

Kills really don't mean everything. Creep score (those minions that run down the 3 lanes) is important.

This match, played an hour ago, most of my team got 'S' grades for an excellent performance and one completed level five mastery; it was a lot of fun and everyone had a good time. http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2197731760/230329210?tab=overview
