I was wondering as a diana main if top/tank diana would work. I play her mid and i have no talent in jungaling on any champ. In ranked i want a secure second role for diana other then jg. I think the build would start rod of ages but thats all. Any ideas could help.ty

xShiNjiNx1 votesNashors isn't that good unless you are building AP to compliment it, thats why i suggested the wits end. However Gauntlet is def a viable option if you need more armor instead or MR as it also synergizes with steraks. I figured some kind of attack speed would be nice on Diana though seeing as she will probably be auto attacking a lot with how tanky she will be. Which would make good use of her passive.
TLDR; just get fed as fuck go full ap, and have a giant shield to make you tanky as you blast threw their team. ^^
Hyperiön1 votesEven if not going AP, just from say, 200 AP, the passive of Nashors' and the attack speed make it still a viable option. Yes you'r autos won't be doing the 90 dmg on hit, but with diana's passive naturally being super bursty, it could still work. And yes, full ap Diana is opaf, however, if you get caught out or stun locked, she has no escapes except right into one of the carries she hits with her Q. So that makes her a glass cannon all or nothing play style. Where as building like this, could have a huge impact with sustain as well as dps.
xShiNjiNx1 votesI personally feel that wits end would make a better attack speed option if you arn't building ap, because like you said, even if you arnt stacking ap the attack speed itself is good. Which you get from Wits End.. now the bonus is, you also stack up MR while you shred theirs. The only reason you could really justify Nashors over Wits End in this specific scenario, is if you 1. wanted more AP, or 2. didn't get enough CDR from other tank items.

Inreplacement of the Wits End, You could probably swap it out for a Nashors', or even a Zhonyas, hell, or even an Iceborn. It probably could and would work amazing with her passive. I actually think I might have to try this out.

I just came over to say the same thing replace the wits for nashors replace frozen for a iceborn
xBushx1 votesThis doesn't work because she unlike Ekko and Fizz does NOT have an execute passive that does % dmg.
So her passive requires actual ap. I have done this several times in different matches but no it doesn't work.
