you will waste your lifetime IPs Earnings in them

it kinda suck since the game heavly Depend on your runepage and masteries in Early game, it could set you back by far and you will never see the day light ever again

or you could have a medium experince and have an even lane

or you can be Strong enough to start snowballing

it all depends on the runes, why do a whole set of runes cost more than 2 new champions? like, i'm not even counting a runeoage FOR the runes you just bought

why not just reduce them? there are quints that costs 2k EACH, don't get me started about HP Seals

You only need 2 rune pages, AD and AP. Everything else you spend is mostly unnecessary.

Marks (Reds)

Attack Damage x9=1845 Magic Penetration x9=3690

Seals (Yellows)

Armor x9=1845

Glyphs (Blues)

Magic Resist x9=1845

Quintessences

Attack speed x3=3075 Ability Power x3=3075

Total IP for all the runes you'll ever need: 11,830

no, you need movement speed, and a Tank rune, AS rune and so on

just because you only play AP and AD doesn't make it essential

i know people who still rune gold quints on supports

Lol, no one needs movement speed runes, and what do you think tank runes consist of? Hint: It's armor, MR, and AD/AP.

Those are literally the only runes you need lol.

It's basically nothing. You're better off with CDR to spam your own movement abilities or damage.

Discounting his point because of his rank is just idiotic especially when you're currently unranked according to lolking.

Movement speed quints are just a quality of life rune they basically lack any impact in the early game whatsoever, not any sort of necessity at all. This point was presented by the math that you were given with and discounted because of his rank.

Volibear is better served by AD, AP, or even Health. Udyr by AD or AS depending on which stance you're going with. Nautilus by AS or AP to better his clear early on.

My final point is that you'd have a better time getting runes if you didn't do things like spend 2k IP on the URF Icon.

i don't need the runes for urf, besides i like the urf icon, i'd trade a quint for it

although, calling something useless just because you don't see how useful it is is kinda stupid, and yes iam unranked, i've tried it and didn't like it, i like to have fun in my games, hence the urf icon

Phreak even shows how you can get by with little to nothing. Two basic rune pages can actually go a long way. Other runes, yes, can help improve other aspects but they are far from "essential".

Of course they're expensive. The purpose of Runes is to pressure you into playing a lot more and/or simply buying RP (for boosts to get the needed IP, or Champions so you can use IP on Runes instead). If they were cheap or free they wouldn't serve their intended purpose.
