S ratings in Ranked

Ive had this question before and it never got legit answers from reputable sources. I find the whole in game rating to be useless as far as ranked is concerned. Besides a flashy new mastery emote it means nothing, and perhaps the most frustrating thing is getting S ratings and losing LP or getting demoted. "thanks you did so well u deserve a demotion." isnt motivating to keep playing well. I think it would make the climb more tolerable and enjoyable to those playing well to be rewarded for doing so. I propose bonus LP for any S rating. S-=5 S=10 and S+=15 bonus LP WIN OR LOSE.

1 if you are winning with an S plus rating the player most likely doesnt belong there and it will help filer them out so the rank can be at a pure level, and two if you lose but get an S instead of losing 18lp you only lose 8. It doesnt hurt you as bad and it makes the climbing process a lot more enjoyable knowing that playing well and getting an S isnt completely worthless or sat in the wound as you lose.

The fault is your misconception of the point of the mastery rank. It's by definition, the proof of the character's familiarity with that particular character. I can suck in League, but the fact remains that I'm mastery 7 illaoi, due to my ability to succeed in mastering the character long enough to rank high enough to obtain it. It's true that it's not the proof of the player's skill as a whole, but it still means they know how to use that champion.

Though on that same regard, many others have a misconception of that particular thing as well. They think themselves to be the god of that particular champion due to their rank. I'm ok with illaoi, but I don't consider myself to know everything about what she can do in terms of unique plays or tactics.
