I saw a Guinsoos on a Nautilus the other day. It was pretty hilarious because he could solo anyone on their team.

I feel like I can do anything as Ekko

and still be cancerous. I don't think this is ok.

I mean runes and masteries are little aids to help. You could take mana regen runes on Garen and still win hard.

I realized in that game how Stormraider's can synergize with Ekko as well.

Proc it and your passive on a champion and get swifts, and you run like you have homeguards.

Also, runes and masteries impact a LOT. You learn that if you ever smurf or play with an empty rune page. It makes shit impossible to win sometimes.

They impact but taking Blitzcrank runes and masteries doesn't mean you should do poorly as someone like Ekko. You're just a tankier Ekko at that point with less damage. Doesn't mean you should fail to excel.
