How do you stop Nasus from stacking?

Don't push early and don't harass early. Get the wave to push to you. Once that is done freeze the wave. Once he uses his Q on minion go for a trade. He will be in trade threat and won't have his primary damaging ability. Early on it has a longer cooldown. Take a short trade and get out. You will win. Get into a bush to lose minion aggro. Repeat until you can some him or kill him.

The other alternative is later, shove the wave in and roam all over since Nasus is highly unlikely to follow you. This is actually huge since you can win mid and bot for your team. No matter how many stacks he gets he can't 1 v5 if you or your jungler don't feed him. Hell even fed he will be kited hard. Abuse his weak early game with trading stance

But don't push the lane If you harass and damage minions, you will push your lane and nasus will heal up with his Q. So don't.

But how do I hit nasus without hurting the enemy minions?!?!

minion aggro If you auto attack nasus, the enemy minions will attack you. You lose hp and push lane because enemy minions stop attacking your minions. Spells on the other hand will not draw minion aggro! Full hp nasus? use spells after he uses Q!! Combine with autoattack once in a while for thunderlords!

Stand between enemy melee and ranged minions Start harassing at early levels! Display dominance and scare away the dog!

build the right items or max the right skills. For example, Jayce can max E instead of standard Q because melee E does %hp damage, great for raping nasus every time he comes for cs! Or build botrk and harass him with %hp damage!! If nasus rushes iceborn, build lethality or arpen first!!

Nasus is freezing lane! what do I do? Push wave and reset. Meanwhile go kill river crab, clear enemy jungle, or ward deep jungle for extra vision and gold!

You can't deny stacking unless he is dead. I played Nasus vs Mundo recently and the enemy team just camped me, so I couldn't stack. If I try to fight, boom 2 people come out of nowhere and I die. You can kill 2-3 times Nasus early and he will be useless unless him team has AOE waveclear like Ziggs, to defend and stall the game. Played vs Nasus as Trynda yesterday - this is the most tilting matchup for Trynda in the game. Killed him once early, but he started to outtrade me after 2-3 minutes, so I tried to roam over the map helping my team and had to build unconventional (bork, deadmans, tabi, last whisper) items while he was freefarming top. When he was going near our tier 2 tower, we were ganking him. His team started to complain that he was inting, we rushed their towers, got Baron, won every teamfight, because their carries were already low or running when he was tping.

It's simple. You don't push. Force him to push to you, then have your jungler camp top.

You force him to choose to leave lane or lose the game by pressuring another lane. When your TP is up, you back to base, go mid or bot. Help push a wave or two into the enemy tower, along with your jg, and TP back to your tower and defend it. When TP is back up, rinse and repeat.

There is a reason why people don't play Nasus that much in higher elo, because a Nasus will get destroyed against decent players that know how to deny his stacks. Poking him won't do much since he's gonna be buying tanky items nevertheless. Camping nasus is usually a good idea, or level 2 ganking him

Depends on your champion, if you have a high poke champion he wont outsustain your poke before long.

If you are playing malphite or maokai, you should try to shove the lane and go gank other lanes.

Ban him. Can't stack anything if he's banned from the match.

You crash the wave against his tower, then let it counterpush and freeze it near yours, then you deny him last hits hard (be super aggro any time he goes to last hit, but be careful not to ruin your freeze). If he leaves, shove it hard to crash his tower again and leave, buy, and catch the counterpush again. Rinse repeat. You don't so much stop him stacking as you slow him down...enough that you can win before he becomes effective in teamfights.
