Support Picks being forced on everyone, everywhere.

I just went down my friends list and found 5 in a row that had "frequently played" and a support champion in bot lane. I happen to know that none of them main Support so it seems that everyone is still getting thrown into that role without wanting it. I know you have done a little something to help the support role in patch 6.13 but obviously there needs to be more done. Please find a way to allow support characters to effect the game more and be more desirable by all players.

I mean, no matter how great support items get (but not good enough for midlaners to want, we all saw what happened to Spellthief's), ultimately the fact of the matter is that "I'm here to help my team behind the scenes, not carry on my own" isn't a statement that appeals to everybody. Support has gotten INFINITELY better over the years. Before Sightstone, supports had to spend so much of their income on wards that it wasn't uncommon for even pro-level supports to finish a long game with only one or two completed items. Before the diversified support items, we just had a general lump of stats that everyone had to buy and live with.

The fact of the matter is, the idea of being a support rather than a carry just isn't appealing to people. Nobody says 'oh boy, i got a sic penta-assist today. Support champions absolutely have a huge impact on the game, but they way in which they do so (behind the scenes, rather than scoring pentas) isn't appealing to many people.

Ardent censor and crucible were both buffed tremendously last patch as well as the chalice update before that, as well as the update to the starter items this patch as well so I disagree that stuff is not being updated.
