Some Turret changes I'd like to see
So with some mayor issues being addressed, weak state of turrets seems to be one of the few things left to finally 'fix' League.
The idea here is to keep people in their lane at least until they can get their one-item powerspike a lot of champs need to function:
1) Turret Unique Passive - Fortification Current: 50% damage reduction from all sources, this effect expires after 5 minutes. (Mid and Top turrets only) Suggestion: 30% damage reduction from all sources, this effect expires after 10 minutes. (All turrets) If there is more than one enemy champion within 1500 units, the reduction is doubled to 60%. (Mid and Top turrets only)
I believe Riot is right about Bot turret falling faster to prevent boring lane swaps, but the current rate is just too much. It does slow the game down a bit, but overall laning phase might only last 2-3 minutes more, while the entire match length can should gain about 1 minute.
2) Turret Unique Passive - Safe Place
- Active for the fist 10 minutes of the game.
- Activates only when there are more enemy than ally champions within 1500 units of the turret.
- Grants 20 Armor and Magic Resist per bonus enemy for champons within 1500 units.
Envisioned as a Anti-5-Man-Botlane mechanic within the first 10 minutes of the game, it also helps against dives in Solo lanes. The primary purpose of this change is 'letting people play the bloody game', without punishing 'fair' 1v1 or 2v2 gameplay. Furthermore, it nerfs the most toxic Jungle-Lane interaction without gutting Junglers themselves.
