honestly if you want a change in placement you cannot lose a placement game, sadly enough

you should never be placed equal to your previous seasons rank unless that previous season was B5.... since you were B4, I mean... if you won 9 placement matches, sounds like you can get winning a lot and shouldn't have trouble getting out of Bronze.

Well, last season I started playing close to the end and my placements put me in Bronze 5 (fairly, because I didn't play well). Then I started playing only normals and when I became good with a champion, I started playing ranked with that champion mainly. I got from Bronze V 0lp to Bronze IV 50 lp without any defeats. If it keeps going like this, I will get out of here eventually. It's just that I'd have saved so much time by being placed around Bronze II...

If Rank 1 is squished down to plat 1 at the beginning of the season everyone else has to be shoved down accordingly.... you going from B4 to B5 makes perfect sense everyone drops a significant amount at the beginning of the season due to the highest ranked players being able to place at a maximum of Plat 1.
