Bring back Doombots for a weekend...Rito Pls

Haven't seen it in 2 years. Was practicing really hard against intermediate bots. Please don't let me down.

Riot's said many times that it's low priority due to the sheer amount of work involved. Original Doombots was one of the most complicated projects code-wise back when it was made, and since then we have both a new map and, more importantly, a lot of champions have gotten reworks. This means all that code that was written for the old Doombots has to be changed drastically to compensate for the new kits and all that go with them. And that's not even counting the fact that reworks are still ongoing (such as Assassins and Yorick coming up quick) which means any work now on existing bots in that list would be changed again.

Not saying it'll never happen, just that they have other, more impactful things that they can worry about in the meantime.

I'm sure they will, but not any time soon.

I believe their working on creating a lot more bots (last time there were only a few different bots). And adding more abilities and effects.

I liked that mode as well !

They're not just making more Bots- they're remaking all of the versions they had. The old Doom Bots was created on the Rift before it got it's visual overhaul. As such, Doom Bots is no longer functional with the Rift and has to be completely reprogrammed for not only the crazy buffs, but also to accommodate all of the champs who got kit changes. There's a ton of work that has to be done for Doom Bots to see play again, so be patient.
