Champion Mastery Reset? and Ideas..

I looked around in the Preseason QA and briefly on this gameplay section on this board for an answer to this question and didn't see anything.. so forgive me if this has already been answered.

Will the Champion Masteries be reset at the start of Season 6. I was kind of hoping for a fresh start. Maybe even giving the concept more depth..

Some neat ideas on my "wish list"

Add more levels to, for example 10, and once you get to Level 5 to increase your masterty you have to actually receive a good grade like B and up to improve your level past 5.. or just keep it at 5 cap but have it like this.. I don't really know the exact reason behind the champion mastery but I feel like the people who are actually good at a champion should be rewarded than those who just spam the champion and not do well in games.

It would be really cool if it recorded and showed your KDA, I know it shows it in ranked but since you can get Points for Normals seeing the KDA behind the mastery points would be cool.

This is more of a luxury if anything but, if you made it where you actually had to receive an B+ to level up once you meet the last level you get something for that champion, like a summoner icon that can be shown in game maybe with their thumbnail inside the already Level 5 thing idk would be cool.. lol

but anyways I just feel like this Champion Mastery thing has potential to be a lot more I guess with all the other changes and season 6 around the corner there's just no time. A reset would be nice though lol

I kinda wish you could hide your mastery. I feel a little pressured to do well with a champion I have mastery rank 5 on.

Nope, Mastery will never be reset, whether it's a new season or even a champion rework. They will be introducing more mastery levels for you to work towards (they will be automatically awarded if you already have enough points).

They said they will add more levels and more rewards... I'm just hoping i can use my favorite champions faces as summoners icon... I mean the art is already there shouldn't be much of a hassle to code it and will result on a bunch of players feeling the are getting freebies to literally no cost to riot.... I don't have the data of how well.bad does summoner icon sell but i doubt it will change for you getting a free "x" champion portrait as summoner icon, I mean you already have 20 or so to chose from at level 1 anyway.
