Nocturn's Ultimate has No Counterplay.

Can we talk about how Nocturn can use a semi-global, unstoppable, unblockable, undodgeable, near instant dash to blow up anyone who isn't a tank? Even if you flash heal as he lands on you his slow + speed up combo will run you down anyway. His spellshield blocks any stun attempt and if you wait for it to expire you're already dead. The only solution is to nuke him as he lands, which isn't possible unless you're entire team jumps on him right away, which won't work if other members of his team engage first.

This isn't a thread about him being 'broken'. It's about the sheer lack of counterplay a squishy has against him just headbutting the R key every half a bloody minion wave.

You can Charm him during his fly time. With ahri Also focus sustain when he's in game don't get low.

"Don't get low", he one shots full health squishies. Try again. Almost no champions have a dash and CC combo that they can use to escape the initial damage and CC his follow up like ahri.

this is true, i hate good nocs, even on ezreal ill get 1 shot before i can even E or if its early game have to burn E and flash to get out of fear range which he can just follow with flash. good nocs are scarey esp when he ults an your all blind an shit lol.

Deep wards. As with all long range jungle gank champ or odd gank path champ, you need to ward deeper and more aggressively and know which side of the map he is on. Also make use of his early long CD on it.

His ult has a range that he can hit you from half a dozen paths. You'd have to ward in his jungle to see him coming, and then you're vulnerable to him just ganking through the lane, or wrapping around behind your lane to gank you through your own jungle, so no.

He has to farm his jungle sometime. If you dont know where he is, assume hes ganking you. And of course you need to ward his jungle, thats pretty much what i stated. Rotate together and get some deep map coverage early. He hasnt changed since his release, and neither has how you play against him.

Well, the most obvious thing here would be spellshields

Also, Nocturne can be charmed during flight, so when he lands on his target he is rendered useless for that duration. You can always flash right after he hits you, flash range is bigger than his E targeting range so he can't fear you if you are fast enough

My point is, there should be a window of opportunity to do -something- besides praying your cooldowns and his are mismatched in your favor. Thats not -counterplay-.
