Kennen AD or AP?

I just came back to league and found out that AD kennen is now common, because of the initial damage on his ult being nerfed. Every game I play AD kennen, i get flamed on and told that i shouldn't play him ad because "he is heavily reliant on the team comp".

So my question is should i just keep playing AD Kennen, or should I play AP Kennen? If the answer is both can you elaborate when i should use the two in separate situations?

If you have an AD jungler and an AD mid I definitely would go for the usual AP build. Other than that just play whatever you feel more comfortable with

AP. AD Kennen is terrible

AD Kennen is not a good choice cuz his ult relies on team comps but its better to play ap cuz u can easily take down an enemy with just three attacks if ur build is complete
