Is it possible to get the skin? Love the skin, but I understand how it's naturally obtained.

I don't believe so, as you cannot receive limited edition skins. E.G. Pax, Silver Kayle, Black Alistar, Rusty Blitzcrank, Riot Singed, Human Ryze. The list goes on. Here is the full list of limited edition skins. Note you should be able to receive limited edition skins. https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752944-Guide-to-Legacy-and-Limited-Skins#h2

"I don't believe so, as you cannot receive limited edition skins." Where did you find this info?

I made the assumption based on the previous rules with mystery skin chests, as these are essentially a free to obtain version of them. Also that would cause serious problems throughout the player base. Although I don't actually know for sure, so this may or may not be the case, I simply made an educated guess.

Simplest way to put this. Can you get it in a mystery gift? If yes, it's in hextech crafting. If no, well then you just can't get it.
