Aatrox Suggestion

I've been playing Aatrox since the day he came out. I think he is a really bad ass cool looking champion... but he is not good. This is basically a soft rework that is actually more of a buff. I don't think these changes will make him broken, i think they will make him viable and a champion that is actually worth playing.

Passive- Blood Well No longer grants attack speed based on how full it is Revive component remains the same At the start of the game, Aatrox can choose one of two items

The Darkin Blade
+1 AD/ level for each unique champion kill (90 AD)
+2% life steal per unique champion killed(10%)
+12% AS +5% per unique champion kill(42%)
this is intended for solo lane/ jg Aatrox

Blood Well
+30 health per level(540)
+10% base health regen/level(180%)
Active: Bind to an ally granting them +2 AD/level(36) and +1% increased healing per level(18%)
Aatrox receives 50% of this bonus , Aatrox's blood thirst will also heal the bound ally for 20% of the amount he heals himself
This is intended for Supptrox

Aatrox can switch between these items for the first 3 minutes of the game similar to how kalista can choose who she wants to bind with in the first 3 minutes of the game to avoid the wrong item being purchased.

Q- Damage removed, Cooldown increased by 3 seconds, removes cc on cast, if an effect is removed this way, Aatrox gains 20% bonus movement speed for 2 seconds can't be interrupted anymore. Instead of doing damage, Aatrox refreshes his W allowing him to do dmg or heal on his next attack

W- The same, fairly balanced ability (healing on bound ally will not increase when aatrox is under 50%)

E- The same except now the projectile speed and dmg scale with As. 10% damage per 1.0 As, 20% projectile speed per 1.0 AS currently just a shit ability that travels too slowly

R- Castable on allies , will have different effects based off of the item he chooses. Grants an allied champion 30/45/60 AD and 20/30/40% Attack Speed for 8/10/12 seconds and grants allies moving toward the empowered champion 15% movement speed If Aatrox has the Blood Well item, it grants an ally a shield that decays over 2.5 seconds that blocks up to 15/20/25% of their max health If Aatrox has the Darkin Blade item, casting his ult will do 150/225/300 damage around the selected ally and will grant him 175 bonus attack range when cast on self

This is just an idea, doesn't seem super OP. I feel like these changes will make him viable and have more potential and help him achieve some of his thematic goals. Feedback is welcome

Aatrox

We've got some Aatrox changes that should be hitting the PBE early next week. Those are balance/game health changes, aimed at putting Aatrox into a better place until we can get to a larger update for him at some point.

Main changes there are:

Shifting the passive to a windowed one (proc that grants AS/AD and revive if off CD for a duration, with some downtime). Goal is to offer periods of comparative strength and weakness (lot of the issues we've had with Aatrox's game health have been due to the nature of his revive passive)
Removal of % health costs, probably a flat health cost on E. One of Aatrox's big issues is that he's pretty feast or famine, stat checking people hard with a drain tank pattern or just dying. Giving him the flexibility to build defense more (health) without getting as punished by his kit for it gives some good fallback options/alternate builds.
Changing the W heal so it's not dependent on his AD, or as extremely different above/below 50% health. Ties in with the build path options above, with a % missing heal looking like a fairly likely mechanic.
