Champion Ability Idea

Should there be a champion that has an ability that makes them split into two pieces moving out from the champion's original location before using the ability? Think of it as Kirby Superstar when he has mirror. But if it hits an enemy champion it will do a little damage or no damage and it would be a gap closer for 2 different directions. And it's a 1 way trip just FYI. What do you think?
