Can someone explain to me why I haven't gotten a single soldier every time I've collided with an enemy? I played maybe 3 or 4 games of Azir last night and not even once did I get a soldier when I collided. Even though it specifically says in the ability description he would.

You specifically need to have the dash canceled as a result of colliding to ready another soldier. The dash alone is quite short, so I'd recommend practicing his E-Q combo to double the distance, apply the slow, and ready the soldier.
