riot balance team last year's assassin rework preseason:

"we want to give squishy carries a chance to fight back. 1 shots unhealthy something something, rengar makes kids cry, delayed burst etc. more healthy play style counterplay preserve identity more skill expression ggwp gl in field of justice"

riot balance team this year's preseason:

I think assassin rework is still WIP. older assassins are out, new ones are making an entrance

Your rocking around 900 ap and around 250 stacks on the dark harvest rune in most of these clips that i noticed. When your not @ 900ish AP you still have some stupid amount of dark harvest stacks.

It's OBVIOUS that the dark harvest rune is more than likely over tuned. Especially considering that you get souls from both cannon minions in a wave. When Dark Harvest hits critical mass with what you've built and the rune having the current scalings it's like being veigar with 800 AP. Enjoy it while it lasts because I personally expect it to lose a combination of ad/ap scaling and/or soul damage scaling because of the reliability of the proc post 100 souls. Hell they may just make things worth less souls.

Basically all this added into your card damage is going to do stupid damage. nothing to see here move along

just to clear this one thing....this is not my video. I just found it on YT....the original creator makes similar videos.

I just pointed this one out cause they turned Rengar from an assassin into some clunky bruiser thing, because him "1 shotting" was very unfun/toxic/unhealthy to play against.

Here this TF is doing +2K AP damage with one point and click blue card, just 1 SINGLE attack. Could be some visual bug but if not, current "assassins" can barely manage 2K damage with their entire combo, which is also delayed so some janna/lulu/otherShit can heal/shield the carry. This 1 AA death can't be avoided under normal conditions.

oh.. well sorry bout that.. Still my point stands that it will most definitely get a nerfbat somewhere, probably in soul stacking

If we do the math on why he's doing so much damage it makes perfect sense, the guys he targets probably have close to no MR because he has sorc shoes and either Void staff or haunting guise/liandry's. Its pretty obvious what's going to happen.

Blue cards hits for approx 670 damage. Lich bane proc for an additional 525 damage on the card. Then there's the luden's echo for around 190 Before dark harvest even gets factored into this shenanigans were looking at 1350 damage

Dark harvest according to the lol preview should give him around 450 damage making the TF with blue card hit for 1800 damage

According to the lol wiki Dark harvest has a different scaling which would give us around 510 for a blue card total of 1860

Now in these vids if you also look at the champion levels when TF is lower level he is either fed to the heavens with a DH stacks exceeding 250 or he has a 1-3 level advantage while also rocking an excess of 800 AP and 250 DH stacks.

it's quite obvious in these vids that the 1 shots were him cherry picking because montage is fun.

Does this mean that the DH keystone is OP? maybe. But do you think this won't get hotfixed? I think that this number is going to go down, and i mean fast. They're probably going to gut how many souls you get from each champion/cannon/jungle mob

Most likely this keystone at the levels this guy is performing at will probably have him doing around 100 damage which may not seem like much but when you consider that soul generation will most likely be nuked you need to understand that getting those 150 stacks to get the extended buff duration will probably only happen at the end game. I can easily see them making each cannon grant 2-3 souls and the kills to around 5, which should bring it to more 'acceptable' levels..

I cant stop laughing. Omg, we are in for one hell of a ride. The Riot team is probably trolling. Thats just unbelievable.
