New Aatrox looks trash

WTF is this fight stance? This "thing" looks like it can't even lift!!

Old Aatrox held/used his weapon with one hand. Felt powerful, swinging that massive sword like a feather. New one appears to be dragging its sword, not able to handle the weight, feels as if 2 big swings and he'll be on the ground on his knees, already out of breath. Even Garen looks better. His Q hits also looks so slow and bulky.
When I first heard of his rework, I expected that new one will be somewhat similar to old one, heavy attack speed based AA fighter. Nothing in reworked Aatrox kit suggest building AA being good. His attack speed growth: 1. noice. You make Aatrox into some slow ass modified riven. fk this.

New Aatrox looks like Riot just imported Nightmare from Soul Calibur.

Ok. For the dragging the sword behind him it looks kinda cool to me. It just looks off that he can carry this big sword with one hand like it's a kitchen knife with the size of a surf board. I don't care if it doesn't make him look sooooo physically strong as long as it looks more natural. It doesn't seem right that he can carry a sword as big as himself with one hand and not even drag it on the ground or put it on his shoulder. As for the stance this is a real life battle stance that is supposed to look like that. Plus that you know that even if you can handle a weapon with one hand you may still use your other hand to make the swing stronger. This is a real life thing too. So the one handing of current aatrox is all on all worst than the two handing on the new aatrox. This is the type of weapon that he uses after all. The gratesword is suposed to be slow but hit like a truck. If you want him to hit fast as hell give him a rapire and then complain that a small weapon looks bad on him. It looks off for that big of a weapon to hit with 50 hits a sec you know. If you want big sword it needs to look natural and that means it should have weight which means you can't hit fast with it. Go play him and feel the strength as you basic attack because right now yes he one-hands the weapon but as he swings it it doesn't feel powerful at all.

Edit: Aatrox doesn't drag the sword actually he just keeps it on his side while still yes two handing it. Which is a real life stance too actually so a lot of thought put in how he carries the sword.

You have no idea how sword stances work, do ya? He carries it like that for the forward swing he does. It's far more efficient than carrying a sword with the tip pointed forward when you aren't planning to stab. And it looks more fluid, from an animation standpoint.

If you think he appears to be dragging his sword, then you simply struggle with the top-down view of this game. No helping you on that.

His old sword actually wasn't massive compared to the weapons of almost every character who carries a weapon, and the slots in it made it look light and ineffective-- to say nothing of the anti-efficiency three-sided design.

He looked like a twig who couldn't fight and had a sword to match. If you somehow think the new bulkier design looks weaker, you've got a very messed up idea of what strength looks like. There's nothing sillier than a scrawny guy carrying a heavy sword. That's not strength, it's either bad design or magic.

As for his abilities, he seems similar to Riven but with more counterplay, which is good. It means he won't fall into the abyss of champions who were redesigned but with abilities that can't be balanced.
