Which position to main

Hi everyone,

Recently, I was a top lane main trying to OTP Fiora or Riven. But there is a few hours ago, I saw that the 7.14 patch came out and it seems like the tank meta is coming back again ( with the new thornmail, nerfs on fiora, buffs on popppy, trundle, etc...). So I was wondering if it'd be a clever idea to switch from toplane to ADC or jungle (especially because I hate playing tanks and toplane started to become boring. Plus, I figured out that toplane was mostely useless no matter what u do in the game unless you are good with solocarry champs) .

I would like to swich into botlane as an ADC or in the jungle, which I find pretty fun to play and there is an interesting amount of champions I could try to OTP in both positions. Moreover, these roles are way more impactful in games than toplane.

Basically, I'm here so you guys could suggest me which role to master if I want to climb the fastest as possible and why.

I'd suggest jungle over ADC, you can do fine as ADC, but being tied to a bad duo in lane makes for one of the most defeating feelings I've ever experienced in this game. The only thing worse is when every single lane feeds as a jungler, but I feel like as the jungler you have more of a chance to pull your team back than you would as an ADC.

I, like you, rather dislike playing top lane tanks, though interestingly I feel I have a much better time playing tanky champions in the jungle when necessary, and the versatility to play anything from an assassin to a tank and everywhere in between is rather enjoyable to me.

If the tank meta is coming back, then top lane would be the best place to be unless you're the type of person that refuses to play tanks.

You have good stats with GP and Camille. I'd focus on getting even better with those champions in order to climb, tbh. GP can be played mid as well.

If you're wanting to transition to jungle, I'd recommend Warwick. He's quite strong right now with a low skill floor and a decent skill cap.

Top lane has the biggest swing in low elo, because there are very few people who main it.

I would suggest playing something other than fiora / riven though as if theyre not fed they dont bring anything to a team fight.

If you're moving away from top because of the thornmail buff, why would you want to play adc?
