Mordekaiser needs some CC

Hopefully, someone feels the same way.

I play Morde all day every day, and sometimes i feel like His Q or E lie to me. His Q says: "Swings his mace with such force that it echoes out", so sometimes I wonder how in the world does someone get hit with such a hard Mace and continue to casually walk away and move freely without getting knocked back/up or stunned by it.

Orrr, his E: It looks like some spike like things are coming out from the ground to attack. I would assume that being impaled by by spike like things coming from the ground would probably knock someone up or block their movement from a brief moment.

Anyway, the reason i feel he needs CC is because I usually play Morde top lane -because i hate playing him mid against ranged mages with long ranged snares and stuff- and I can pretty much duel anyone top laner to the point where i think im gonna destroy them, but i lose the fight because most top laners had a stun, a pull, a knock back, and its those times in which i cant do anything that make it hard to win a fight. Everyone either kills me while stunned, or stun me and run away cuz im strong but very slow. In fact, because I'm such a n00b, its so hard to win a fight sometimes that i have to run Ignite+Heal and wait for a bad gank from the enemy so i can heal bait and ult for a double kill to get ahead. So, it would be nice to be able to cc an enemy by hitting him directly with my Q or letting it splash onto him, or using E to slow them or something so that the fights arent decided by me not being able to do anything for like 1.5 precious seconds.

I really like the way Morde's kit is atm, because I've played with it for so long (jk, I've only played Morde for 2 years straight ;/) , but adding a form of CC into his current abilities would be nice.

tl;dr: Morde should have a CC on hit with his Q or with the splash of the spell or with his E in some way.

I don't think CC is what he needs to make him more interesting, although I would say that he is pretty outdated and clunky as a kit over-all.

I think for him it would be best to speed himself up, instead of slowing others down. I don't think hard CC is going to fit well with him at his current damage levels.

I think when they rework him (hopefully soon), they will consider it a lot like Nidalee - being CC-less is important to his identity but he needs to make up for it by excelling in other ways that his counterparts do not.

Mordekaiser isn't balanced for the era of Glass or Full tank.

Back when he built 70% damage, 30% durability, he could fight and his passive would be a powerful amplifier of his defensive stats.

With damage around the map being astronomically higher due to Mastery changes and penetration changes, he explodes nearly instantly with an "ideal" build.

He's fairly ignorable if he builds heavily tanky and tries to be Mundo. He's too squishy if he builds heavily damage, while being kitable.

If anything, giving Mordekaiser more health regen, base armor, and move speed would maintain his play pattern but allow him to fight the match ups he should be strong in. (Zed, Fizz, Talon, other melee Assassin's)
