Draven too over tuned
Consider the following,
has an over tuned kit where it makes the enemy player at a disadvantage and here is why.
-
Early game- In the beginning of the game he has one of the highest dps in the game with his q. Its almost like a turret attacking you but the difference is that Draven takes longer. Partner this at lvl 2 with his move-speed ability (don't remember if w or e) he has the mobility to chase you down. Compared to other marksman only
has the equal footing with the mobility and early game pressure. -
His passive- If the mid game is draven's weak area (idk if it is because I hate the champ personally) the passive helps him power through that time period but just catching axes and killing one enemy champion. For other gold granting champs
their bonus gold is random and is limited with the amount gained. Yes GP and TF get it of minions but for one champ at like 50+ stacks is a bit excessive and only losing half when killed is a benefit for the draven player. Also if Draven is suppose to be a hyper carry then he has the quickest way to get his items without being fed. -
Mobility- At any point in the game after lvl 2 he gets a move speed bonus that decays and gets a short cd with the help of axes. Compared to her marksmen like
there is a big side effect of their move speed. Twitch cannot attack when he has it and looses when he attacks, jinx is granted of kills and it decays, jhin is limited and is based of crit, and kalista has to attack when she starts (and its more of a lunge but still mobility). So in team fights he can just sit back and catch axes and re-position better than most marksmen.
I understand that i have a hatred for the champ and this may sound bias, but compared to all the other marksmen he has a lot more tools to help him with little to no tools for the enemy to punish him. For the most part the enemy has to be an assassin just ti kill him. I also acknowledge that i suck at the game and I need to learn how to counter him effectively to punish him. So let the down votes ensue and tell me how I'm so wrong.
