Has Cleanse been considered being turned into a spellshield?

Would it be too much to ask to turn cleanse into a spellshield? 1 sec duration with the same 65% reduced cc for 3 seconds? With the low uptime, you'd have to time it pretty precisely...so I don't think it would be too powerful on a similar CD to flash. It would be incredibly useful for ADCs and immoble mages, especially lategame to null something like a Nautilus ult or Lee kick and I don't really see junglers or top laners taking it over flash or tele.

Thoughts?

Do we really want champs like Kalista or AP Kog'maw to have a good way to deal with CC without building an item? Do we really?

like them getting cleanse even requires an item currently. If Kalista or AP Kog wanted to take cleanse today they wouldn't need to build an item

ok... how is this any different from the current way cleanse works now? all you are doing is making cleanse be weaker for no reason whatsoever
