Congrats you made this item about half as useful on Gangplank now that you took away his crit. Indirect nerfs to Gangplank and Trinity Force Yasuo. GP now feels awful until you complete Infinity Edge. His less than average early game is now even worse due to these stupid changes.

It baffles me how many threads there have been about TF Yasuo being nerfed when otherwise basically everyone hates Yasuo with a burning passion.
As for Gangplank, it's generally poor design if a champion is balanced so much around a single stat on a single item, like pre-rework Vlad and WotA. (I say a single stat on a single item because the issue that's brought up is TF losing crit chance, which just means Gangplank is hinging on getting both the 200% Base AD spellblade procs AND 100% more total AD from crits at the same time. If this is the case, then he'd likely need a general damage buff somewhere, but I doubt it's that simple.)
Ok, why do you build Trinity on GP now? GP got nerfed to the ground only because people abused him with Crit strike builds in competitive. Tankplank and bruiserplank are not viable, because your base dmg and tankiness are gone after all these nerfs. So, he is bound to build crit. And you buy item without crit. Don't be stupid.
It's still a buff to many other champions. GP might need a buff at some point, but you'll end up building lots of crit elsewhere. You'll do fine with the new triforce, or you can build something else instead.
GP can still be a threat...just depends on your situation.
TF being built on him now is a waste of time, yes. IE on him will take too long unless you're getting fed like a baws...and that's not likely.
Seems like the only logical build...least from my perspective. Takes forever, yes...but with TF getting shoveled into the pile of shit items, what more can we say/do?
Gangplank has had lots of time to shine, has everyone forgotten S5 worlds? He's earned a break.
In any case, GP will be fine. If it hurts him too bad Riot will probably buff him. They aren't going to revert the changes because it hurts all of 2 champions and kills one yasuo build
I am glad about the Yasuo part. He was really toxic with the whole bruiser build. But now we do need to address the hits taken by Gangplank since this was his core item.
GP was and still is broken "Less than average early game" GP can beat about 90% of the champion roster in lane if you're competent
