I'm honestly sick of seeing him get 1000 AP by 20 mins every time and knocking down a whole half of a tank's health with one W. He's honesty no fun to lane against with him gaining AP for so much as grazing you with his huge ass stun.

Reduce the AP scalings? Lower the stun duration? Reduce the radius of his W? Anything to reduce how bullshit he is to fight against. If you're gonna gut Malzahar, gut Veigar too while you're at it.

Oh and don't think I didn't count on you Veigar mains rushing in to downvote this. You are aware that many more people than your amount hate fighting this tiny bastard right?

Why is it that the only solution people can come up with is gut champions that kick their ass? seriously? then we have a bunch of half assed champions...its getting annoying

veigar is easy to deal against. You just need the right champion.

take a champion that have : -some sort of dash/blink (dash is better, but blink is cool too) -a lot of poke -good burst -sustain (optionnal)

you can easely dodge his Q poke by staying behind your minions. Even if it goes through 1 unit, stading behind your wave of minions will make it very hard for him to hit you, since the minions will be very close together, so his Q will hit the 2 minions instead.

Q is his only reliable option for poking, since W is hard to land and if he uses E, you can punish him for the next 15 seconds that he have it. If you can outpoke him, he won't be able to do anything

the blink/dash will allow you to dodge his E. the dash will only work before the cage is placed, but the blink will also work after. Even if you can't go away from his cage, you still can move around to dodge his Q/W

Veigar is very vulnerable against ganks, especially if his E is on CD utilize that.

I mean I don't play as Veigar, but I just play LeBlanc and wafflestomp him so hard early game, that he's useless until 40 minutes. Hopefully game over by then cause he'll just one shot me with ult then :D [zombie-nunu-bummed]
