Why Is Auto-Fill Enabled For Anything Under D3?

I feel there are more than enough players in Bronze - D4 for Auto-fill to not be enabled.

Are you just preparing everyone for how it will be in higher Elo? Because all you're doing is making it harder for people to actually climb because of the poor quality of matches that's happening. People are being auto-filled to a less than proficient role. If you're going to be back tracking, maybe there was never a need to change the old system in the first place.

Straight up because there arent enough supports. Sure, you may have plenty of the other roles, but it wouldn't matter at all if there was a massive shortage of supports. It's going to be bottlenecked and queue times would go up A LOT if there was no autofill

why the fuck is it so bad to have players be able to play every role? honestly? So who's more skilled, the person who can play top lane at a plat level but every other role at a bronze level, or the person who can play every role at a gold level? who deserves higher elo?

if you can't play every role at least decently at your current elo, you don't even deserve that rank.

I may not be able to go ham and carry as adc, but I can farm decently and not feed and help my team. That's probably my weakest role, but I can play it competently. Everyone needs to be able to do that.
