Any developers on this board? Let's make a new LoL

TBH the devs throwing this game in the shitter isn't the only reason I'm so dissatisfied with this game any more. Coin flips and unwinnable games and mindless stomps have ALWAYS been a part of Mobas since the first wc3 mod. The difference is now I work 8+ hours a day and I can't do my work properly if I don't get 8+ hours of sleep. Couple that with my commute of 45 minutes each way and various adult responsibilities, I have at MOST 4 hours to myself each night on a weekday.

Having an unavoidably shit game of league used to be something I could brush off when I had all the spare time in the world, but when I just used 1/4 of my free time accomplishing nothing in the real world and just frustrating myself in time I said aside for leisure, it's infuriating...

Don't get me wrong, I still think the Devs are doing everything humanly possible to make this game as awful as possible, but I also think many of us who play it are in the same age group (1990 - 2000) and are simply growing out of it.

I still like video games and remember all the good times I had on lol. I work with and hang out with real people everyday that I met on LoL, but I can't bring myself to play another game.

I'd decided to channel my enthusiasm for the genre to make my own Moba, something that I know I would enjoy playing. The setting is going to be different, a military themed moba aiming for a very real theme. Sort of like company of heroes but a moba. As an ex sc2 player the thing that drew me to League in the first place was that it was like an rts but your army is split of across 5 different players. Also I hated the idea of macro management (aka keyboard chores) being more important than actual strategy.

My personal skills include a programming and dev ops background, and some experience in Unreal 4 making VR and AR demos. I've always had my friends do the modeling, but I'm picking up blender pretty quickly. I'm looking for artists, modelers, and other coders to help me out. Lets make something we'd like to play and who knows, maybe one day it'll be as big as Leauge!
