An annoyance with the Event missions. Tiny change would be welcome for next time.

Not sure where to put this, so I'll just put it in Gameplay.

So I have a complaint about the missions for the Arcade event. The missions go something like this:

Win Summoner's Rift and kill minions. Win Summoner's Rift and get assists. Win Summoner's Rift within so many minutes. Win Summoner's Rift and get gold.

etc, etc. Insert amount and you get the idea.

All those missions you HAVE to play on Summoner's Rift. There's only a handful where the objective is 'win matchmade games', as in, on any map you want.

I'm an ARAM player, I dislike the Summoner's Rift mode. The laning phase takes too long, I want to get to that 'fast paced mid game constant teamfights and lots of chaos' part much quicker than on SR. I don't care about split pushing, or jungle routes, or lane ganks. The ARAM game is exactly what I love but 90% of these missions require that you HAVE to play on Summoner's Rift. Why?

Why can't I choose where I complete these? It's even more challenging to get 100 minions on Howling Abyss, so it's not like Howling Abyss makes the missions easier, I'd say rather the opposite. So why are you forcing me to play on a map I'd rather not play on?

I love these event things and I can't wait to get these missions completed and start collecting rewards, but for next events, can you just make the majority of the missions 'whichever map you want' objectives? Sure, some require SR and adding some in there is fine, I don't mind. But in this event really 90% you HAVE to do on SR. Urgh.

Yes, URF is going on at the moment, and that is the mode I am using now, it's much faster, but still. I would still choose to do them on Howling Abyss if the option was open.

That's my request, please make them mostly 'matchmade PVP' instead of 'Summoner's Rift'.

Also, I know a lot of people don't understand why on earth I'd only play ARAM, some even claim it's because I'm probably not good enough for Summoner's Rift then. But that's just a stupid way of thinking. I can play just fine, it's purely a matter of game preference. I play ARAM regularly with with a lot of the same people, they feel the same way. It's a matter of 'what do I enjoy', it's not a 'lesser version of the REAL game because the poor things can't do it'. Whoever doesn't agree with that or doesn't believe that, that's all great but I'd advise you to keep a more open mind about things and broaden your horizons. You're not me, and you don't have my tastes, you don't decide what's the acceptable way to play League of Legends. This is my way.

So, for those players like me, we'd like to be able to complete these event missions the way we like it. Like I said I don't mind a SR objective here and there, as long as it's not forcing me to do most of them on SR, instead of where I choose.

You are an ARAM only player. Riot pretends we don't exist because any time spent on us is less time spent on SR players. Champs in ARAM get the same nerfs that SR champions get even if it's because of a jungle item you could never buy. Sona has been sitting at over 70% for years now and brings enough damage/healing combined to be two champs yet they only change minion waves instead? Also If you own a skin like elementalist lux (aka a paying customer) then you will rarely get to enjoy your purchase because games don't last long enough to see her final form. At this point I refuse to spend another cent on LoL until they care about ALL players.

I actually just don't like the missions at all. I'd prefer more difficult, but rewarding missions. Get a pentakill, kill 300 minions in one game, something besides just free stuff you get by equipping an icon that you won for playing 1 game. It's just a waste of space having these missions that mean so little clutter up.

Any chance a Rioter could respond to this, even if it's just 'ok we read it' kinda thing? I just want to know I'm heard and you know it's out there.
