Soraka doesn't need buffs, and you know you don't have to play her as a heal bot early game if you know you're gonna get countered by grievous wounds. You can straight up bully people with Soraka with a Q max and building some AP instead of trying to go for tanky Warmogs/Locket/Redemption builds. Soraka shouldn't be built tanky anyways. You can literally make it where the enemy can't hurt your ADC at all by spamming Qs on them and bullying them out of lane. No need to heal someone who hasn't lost any health. Not to mention her auto attacks do more damage than an ADC who has a doran's blade. >>;
