Since Windwall was described as a projectile in a projectile coding article...

Would that mean a Yasuo can Windwall the Windwall of another Yasuo? Like, one Yasuo casts Windwall, and then another Yasuo casts another Windwall into the first. What would happen if the Windwalls made contact, would one cancel the other, they both cancel each other out, or would the game just crash?

Doesn't work on another windwall.

I propose a rework of the ability so that windwall collisions create an explosion that destroys everything in the area, including both Yasuos.

Really? I remember when Riot was talking about how they were updating the coding for projectiles, that Yasuo's Windwall was a projectile in it of itself. Following this statement, I thought that one Windwall could cancel another since Windwall stops all projectiles.

I'm not sure how the wall is coded since it's kind of persistent entity, so it might work like an Azir Q, where the movement is a projectile, but the soldier is a minion.

Regardless, Windwalls do not interact with one another. I have many games with Yauso under my belt, and I've had more than a few mirror matches where both my opponent and myself have done the W+Q cancel at point blank range. Nothing happens.
