Is there only going to be two VGU's next year?

This is got me a little concerned, there were 3 VGU's this year, kayle, morde and pantheon. Morgana doesn't count since it was mostly just a visual update with minor changes.

Earlier this year riot said they were going to be slowing down on VGU's. This makes me sad since there are still many champions who need them desperately. Udyr, Mundo, Skarner, Quinn, Shaco, Rammus, cho, Noct, Shyvana and several others. Only Fiddle and Voilibear will be worked on next year so far.

3 vgus a year is acceptable, though I will miss them doing 4. I really hate to see them only working on 2 of them a year though. Does anyone know how many there will be next year? A clear answer will help a lot.

I mean we saw 6 in 2018, so a few less is alright.

This year did lean a bit more towards the new champions side being we had 5 of them. 2020 could aim more towards VGUs again, we dunno. Just have to wait and see what direction they take in the end. They did slow down since they got through a pretty large chunk of them at the time but they could always pick it back up if they really wanted too. There are plenty still that do need full VGUs, as well as those that need smaller VGUs (Ezreal style) or even those that could come along side large VGUs but in a much smaller fashion (like Morg).

I'm hoping we at least get Shyvana next year since Riot said she came in as the highest vote from China and I really think she needs it bad. I'd love Cho, Quinn, Noct as some other possibilities.

Voli and Fiddle will both be early next year. We should get a new champion or a VGU every other/every 3 months, roughly, so we'll probably get at least 2-3 new champs + 4 reworks.

Fiddlesticks' team is probably going to be in ideation and picking the next champ by the time Riot returns to the office (so, tomorrow or next week) but we won't know who, exactly, until closer to April or so depending on how fast it progresses from ideation -> concept -> storytelling -> locked down direction (Senna was fairly quick, because she skipped many of the steps. Aphelios took much longer; Akali took several months to get from a conceptual/story phase to final direction on her VGU, morde may have been much quicker in the process)
