Supports are fine as they are right now.

Supports are strong enough already. Every support more or less can smack a adc around for like the first 8 levels as is no need to increase their strength

Yes they are strong enough, and even influential enough, but they don't get enough love. I am not saying they need balance I am saying they need love. some end of game statistics or even in game statistics would go a long way. let them know they did well.

Because we're too busy nerfing them.

A role being called "Support" is the first major wrong step, because well has anyone actually cared about say tech support or customer support unless you work in that position or know someone who works that position? Not many don't you agree?

Another problem, this name creates the mentality that team support is placed upon 1 and only 1 person in that team, which is of course, false mentality. All teammates should support each other to victory and there is no exception.

Also, Riot nerf with the idea that Support should do nothing more than supporting, which ofc adds more salts to the wound.

But first change how people view them, change how people call them. For the most part Support is ok atm so tapping into the balance is not required now however I really would like to see bot lane meta is freed from the tedious and old adc/supp comp.
