well... in order for something to be "viable" it would have to produce repeated results excluding external factors.... I mean I don't doubt the fact that maybe someone somewhere went Blitz top and managed to win lane against ____... but no.... he is not viable... I wanted to give you a chance to explain yourself but you failed to do so... leaving me to believe that you're just trolling... just cause something worked that one single time doesn't make it a reliable choice... especially if you want to win... even more so when there are SOOO MANY BETTER TOP CHAMPS TO PLAY..... I really don't want to list the reasons why he shouldn't because i don't enjoy wasting my time... any player familiar with the game should know why already.... but for starters... your hook engage is only gonna be able to kill someone assuming you actually land it... and/or you are farming under turret... (which means you are probably losing a shit load of cs which inndicates you are losing lane) or if you happen to have a jungler present... but again.. thats only if you land your hook... it just isn't viable at all....

I just call the meta months in advance on this forum accounts and make smug posting telling you how I was right over and over again.
I was hesitant about linking this since all the games I've played recently have been normals with a lower Elo friend, and I'm sure the first thing you'll bring up is the middling ratings of the laners I'm playing against, but here, this shows a collection of matches, both wins and loses where I largely dominate my lanes against a variety of heroes.
If you're really that curious about my opinions on the lane (instead of what was just a fun post to begin with. ) give me your hero of choice and I'll break down the matchup in top lane. You'll find Blitzcrank can bully the fuck out of most low sustain heroes in lane, while struggling vs higher sustain heroes. Or RNG heroes like Tryn, where winning or losing the lane really depends on if he gets the RNG crits in the lvl 1 trade.
