this community and it's knowledge levels are just...[sg-lulu] what am i supposed to do with these people? :/ "the cs doesn't matter" quote from in game. in 2020, yeah lemme just buy a whole one a half more items than you and let's see about that cs not mattering. let's also see what happens when your enemy top laner can't get into the game because you decided to take his turret early and i fucking froze that shit deep in enemy territory even after freezing the laning phase to cheese an exp lead. death to all unknowledgable.

While freezing is fantastic and a way underrated thing to do, I'd like to mention that the solo xp "buffs" have literally nothing whatsoever to do with whether it is or is not a good time to freeze.

2% extra XP is almost nothing. You'll get your next level like 1 caster earlier per what, five minutes or something?

Freezing good, just nothing to do with the XP buffs lmao

You know I had a game where I wanted to see how op cs was so I played annie mid and had 110 cs at 10 mins and I felt so fucking strong like one shotting my lane opponent who had 70 cs it was disgusting

It depends on the rate of snowball or how fast your game is collapsing. Most games right now feel like some lane is collapsing too fast for freezing to be effective, and then your lane becomes moot when all opponents congregate there.

If you are mid, and your bot and top are generally not warding, giving away free drakes/heralds, freezing generally isn't going to help you as much as being a kill opportunist. Freezing has also been minimized by shields on towers giving enough gold to counter most gold loss from pushing.

I think there are times to freeze and times not to freeze. For example, as a Jungler, when top and mid have both given up all priority to freeze the lane, it effectively places a mark on my head such that if I wander into the top side river, or even into our top side jungle, unless I can decisively kill their jungle as soon as he jumps on me (Rare, as I'm a Rammus main), I'm pretty much screwed. This is one reason why in this situation, with top and mid ceding priority and freezing, I'll tend to gravitate more towards bot, farming what I can there and camping that lane.

What annoys me is the amount of times I had set up a freeze on my side of the lane and still don't see my jungler ganking my lane. Especially when the enemy laner has no flash up to escape with.

Freest ganks these plat junglers can ask for and they still don't abuse it.
