Need some opinions on OTP a champ.

This is a "What would you do" question Ive mained Zyra for three years now and finished every season with a 64% or higher winrate on her. I quickly did the math and found across all seasons Ive played her im sitting on a 61% winrate. I initially started playing her because i found I couldnt trust bronze ADCs to deal damage so I picked her up. My first season I hit gold with her and have easily cruised there every season. Then I just quit playing ranked. This season Im gonna try for platinum but dont know if ill make it because quite frankly im bored with Zyra. The sad part is I dont have nearly this much success on any other champ. (My leona is close) I always first pick Zyra if im first pick because im comfortable enough into any matchup playing her. The only "Rough" matchup I ever run into is a good lulu once in a while but shes not common in the ELO ive been at. I guess my question is should i grind it out until im at a 50% winrate or spend the time picking up more champs so I can just play her into matchups she abuses? Ive had several suggestions just commenting in other posts so i figured id make one of my own.

Your OTP should be a champ you don't get bored of. You need a main that, whether OP or UP, is fun to play. At a minimum keep Zyra as a backup pick, and find someone else that can fill the same role she does. Options are nice, even when you want to one trick.

Personally I've been a Garen player since I started in season 1, and I love picking him into difficult matchups. The more I learn with him the fewer matchups I have trouble with, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't get bored of Garen though, so you're in a situation I can't really relate to. I would say keep at it, but if you decide not to good luck.

I really don't get the concept of OTP

What's the point of playing a team game were team compositions is one of many keys to understand the very fondations that this game is based upon, with only one champ, when you have more than 140 at your disposal

You said it yourself, you're bored of playing one champ, so what would you continue to do that with another ?

hum... to begin u shouldn't otp just for otp, its not a sport.

Personnaly when im bored of my champ, i just go in normal or flex. u don't go in ranked for fun, so keep ur zyra for ranked.

Climb to plat with her and then just learn 2 other champs and spam them in normals, or watch video/read guides on them.
