Sometimes you need to know when not to care

Anecdotal reference:

jungler gets level 2 invaded by Shaco and dies

Entire team response, including the jungler's?

"Eh, whatever."

Team proceeds to win.

There are some, albeit frustrating, things you're just going to have to accept. If you get invaded and die, you need to pick yourself up and deal with it. You can learn not to pull the same mistakes in the future, but it's best to look to how to play the game you're in now rather than focus on what has already happened and is now over. Adapt, dominate, and when appropriate give zero fucks.

Well said.

Don't tilt out against early game champs and you're already well on your way to winning. Hell, half the reason Shaco even wins games is that he makes someone on the enemy team tilt hard enough to lose the game for his team. Early setbacks can be easily overcome, especially against early game champions like Shaco and Lee Sin. So relax, play the game, and wait for them to fuck up. They will, you just need to be ready to capitalize on it.

this. Shaco feeding on your fears and tears is not just a joke, it's literally how he wins.

I mean, it's basically his lore, right?

Pretty much that. I had a vayne a few games ago who spent the whole game raging me out because I didn't gank enough early game when she took my xp on the first jungle camp lol. I had to back and fell behind early due to that. We still managed to win but literally up until the point that we got into the base she was all chatting "report poppy plz".....

Nothing one person does seems to contribute to a win anymore. It's just all "whoops a teammate offset everything I just did (good or bad). Hope I win this coin toss of a game."

There's pros and cons to it, to be honest.

On the plus side, this is a team game so a team effort should hypothetically be stronger than one person's effort, aka five peeps working together to shut down a fed Riven and her underfed team.

On the other side, it's frustrating because of the ladder system. Having an individual rank dependent on your teams can be quite the frustrating experience.

So yeah, I get you.

Shaco is legendary from killing the jungler so often.

Entire team response: "Meh."

Shaco pentakill

Entire team response: "WTF WERE YOU DOING FEEDING SHACO?!"

People seem to forget that invading is a very real threat to a jungler. When someone gets behind in lane, it's fine because they can often farm under turret. Junglers don't have that capability, so they're either stuck dying to the guy every time they enter the jungle or someone from lane gets there fast enough to ambush them without the enemy laner following.

lol, I had this issue once with someone top lane who had no idea how to play against Elise . Elise ended up 5/0, perhaps more by 10 minutes in and then started to roam and crush other lanes

That is very true.

Discretion is advised when heeding my advice. You die once, you pick yourself up. My advice means that entails moving on, going strong, and not letting a slip up get to you. Not, however, caring little about the present at all and just feeding like a motherf*r.

Er, does that make sense? I'm a jungle main, I get where you're coming from.

I agree that getting ambushed once is something easy to compensate for. But the thing is that counter-junglers will counter-jungle more than once. I had a match as Kha'Zix way back when a Vi killed me at red buff. (I checked the brush, too) I was completely useless for the rest of the game since Vi was always in my jungle, and my team did jack shit to stop it until it was too late - which was after my second death, as by then she was ahead enough to take on multiple people. I'm not griping, this is an explanation on the difference between a mistake and being victimized by the enemy.

I downvoted you. You can't always win.

Get into the lobby, "Fuck you guys, my last 2 teams fed every lane. So gg noobs, you all suck anyways." First thing said in the lobby chat outside of positions.. He proceeded to have 0 map awareness even when pinging 100 times that he's getting ganked (I mean the jungler walked through scuttle vision and he was still pushing on the enemy tower), and fed pretty hard. He was the only person doing poorly at the time. Needless to say, we lost. I just don't understand why people continue to play when they get legit upset over a game.

Dedraak1 votes

No thats not what would put me on tilt, things like that happen. Its when people continue to do the exact SAME fucking thing and suddenly expect a different outcome.

Adapt, dominate, and when appropriate give zero fucks.

If you can't do the first, the second is significantly more difficult and the third makes you look like a jerk.
