Is Ziggs losing his global ult?

the only way for ziggs to clears lanes is if he uses his ult. so rito doesnt like him clearing side lanes, hope i am wrong but it seems like he will be losing his global ult [zombie-nunu-bummed]

No, it will be changed however. They said what they would do and this is my predictions for what they will do exactly:

No longer deals double damage to minions
Cool Down reduced from 120 at all ranks to 120/105/90 seconds

It used to be like that before they introduced the double damage minion concept earlier, but increased the cool down.

I doubt that will give them the effect they were looking for.

Their problem with Ziggs ult was late game. And come late game, the fact that you took half of the minion damage away, is going to be moot. Which would effectively undo the previous nerf.

And they don't want to undo that nerf to Ziggs for this reason. Simply, Riot has no problem with Ziggs using his ult to clear, but he should choose between that, and using his ult in a team fight. giving him a meaningful choice to make.

I don't think he'll be losing his ult range, Hiroshima'ing a lane he isn't in is kinda his signature move. Possibly the damage to minions will be dropped in favor of more damage to champions or something.
