if the morde rework is "successful" and morde starts getting picked in say 10-15% of games, would that be good or bad?
Personally... I'm happy i get to pick morde whenever i want... Every time someone picks morde from me i'm like "WUT?!?!?!?? People play this champ?!?"
If he ends up picked I'ma be like "well fuck u rito"

if it's good then mord will dominate almost every bot lane that doesn't specialize in heavy disengage and i won't get to pick him as much because a bunch of bads want to break the meta, not to mention he'll be the epitome of a stat-check, binary monster despite their claims of wanting to move him away from that
if it's bad then i still won't get to pick him because i will be reported for even selecting him without locking in and riot will probably just pretend it never happened or say "oh, experiment failed, time to move on" because they'd never admit their mistakes and revert it
personally i hope this rework flops so that maybe riot won't ignore the people who criticized it since it was made public next time
FriendIy Psycho2 votesto me his update with the whole dragon thing SEEMS cool but its useless unless he steals it in a teamfight because the duration of his phantom isnt bad but not long enough to reach mid lane hib tower to do some real helping. It would serve well as a some good dmg in a center fight at mid but then again hed need to get it, walk there (his move speed is god awful) with the jungler other some other good dps'er but by that time their master yi shreded through all off them with a triple kill making our pet dragon look like a hhouse cat haha. but its mearly for fun of having a pet dragon i guess. if they really wanted to buff mord they would have put a hard slow on his e or a stun on his ult or some sort of mobility buff. the only thing im scared about is garen two shotting adc's like cmon rito lol.
Naader2 votesbad the restriction on his w forces him to be the only bruiser in the game reliant on having a babysitter in lane. Shuts down 2 lanes and a jungle opportunity. If they made it optional and self castable, the sustain and ms buff during ganks would make him a decent jungler considering his stupid fast clear speed. Dragon was overkill imo
BruisingEmu1 votesI really love current Morde. But I know it's not healthy. It IS super binary. His bread and butter skill (Siphon of Destruction) also has no counter-play and assures incredible amounts of easy farm.
So no, I'm not upset about a rework. I'll be happy to see people play him more and actually have him make use of tank items more efficiently (Health wasn't really great on morde before because you were just using your passive anyways) His live Q is fine, I don't mind the new one but I wish they re-imagined his E instead. Now it's just a super nerfed version of the live one and it just feels unsatisfying.
Playing him bot? All for that. Wouldn't be the first time I've done it. (Besides I hate playing ADC)
The teammate reliable W? Looks like they forgot about "Overpow" Morde. Solo Morde is going to play pretty different and I don't know if I like that. He's my main mid pick right now
