What is up with LP gains?

I'm on a 7 game win streak and have a decent win rate (About 72% over 30 games) throughout all of preseason. I still only get about 15-17 lp per win. What is up with this? Feels like I should be getting more, especially considered at the end of the season I was getting 21-24 Lp.

It will happen if you were ranked 5 , then moved to 4 because of the changes , like from Silver 5 to 4 , which will make lp gains really low for a while , don't forget , being Silver 5 means you had 5 Divisions lower than you , now being Silver 4 means there are 8 divisions lower than yours Which means generally you got ranked up 3 divsions for free
