Devourer

Not even two days out of the gate and already there's a dominant jungling strategy.

I just watched a Fizz take down a Xin Zhao using only auto attacks and his W from 100 to 0 while two other people were also wailing on Fizz.

Did Feral Flare teach you guys ANYthing about putting stupid amounts of AS on a relatively cheap item?

For some reason I don't believe that a Fizz would walk up to a Xin and just auto him from 100-0 while tanking 2 other people and never use an ability.

Diamond game. Watched it happen. You don't have to believe it, but I'm relaying precisely what I saw.

Devourer and Skirmisher's is just crazy strong for the price. It's stronger than pre-nerf Feral Flare.

Don't overreact. It's the preseason, where we break everything.

Well you can say the same thing about Jax AA and W ...100-0 somebody

The issue with Feral Flare before was that the on-hit healing scaled to the point when power farmers were healing about 50 health per AA and it wasn't reduce-able.

The attack speed on the item wasn't really the issue; the healing and objective control Feral Flare gave were the issues, as well as how it promoted AFK farming.

It's an immediate 50% AS boost with 40 magic damage base per attack, which goes up on kills, assists, and large monsters, giving 2 bonus damage on the first two. Have you seen Yi with it yet? Or even Shyvana. The healing started at 10 on Feral Flare, and so wasn't the issue early - the issue early was a ~2000 gold item that gave 35% AS with bonus damage to spare. It's an immediate boost that the next competing item in cheapness is Wit's End, and a fourth of the benefits that item gives won't give the user any dueling capabilities against their AD counterparts. Devourer is 400 less and has scaling magic damage, which within 20 minutes I've brought to over 100 damage per hit. The main issue isn't the item - it's the cheapness of it, making it an easy pick-up to roflstomp teams early. I've caused more snowballing teams than I can count, and this is with Nautilus.

You know, that champ that not even 4 days ago was considered to be outside the meta? I've straight solo'd Udyr with Naut. Several times.

It's freaking Udyr. Against Naut.

Yeah I've been thinking about if there's even a reason to ever get a different enchantment when jungling.
