Thing about Zed is that , if person masters him, he can do some amazing plays that leaves opponent butthurt. So instead of praising opponent mechanical skills, they blame it on champion.

Disagreed. Most of his counterplay is expensive lategame items, but for like 12 minutes it's just a horrible lane to play against Zed for most of midlane champions. Or botlane if he visits it.

Unlimited long range poke is so unfun to play against. So are blinks. Zed has the poke and 2 blinks... 3 with flash.

He doesn't need it to run. If he's throwing it out then it's more than likely because he already has you pretty low HP from poke so he can easily just switch to it and ult you if he wants to.

Nobody likes playing against LB any more than zed

Actually, I greatly prefer playing against Leblanc than Zed. She has far more counterplay and takes much bigger risks than Zed ever does.

he forces you to rush a really expensive item if youre an ap mid while he can just get a hexdrinker and ignore all your damage while dealing a decent amount to you. he also has manaless poke/waveclear which people find aggravating. and just like a good leblanc, a good zed will have your head spinning around in circles and go wtf

and zed has a better laning phase than the assasins you listed

Well for one, lol, what moron actually runs out of Energy? It is the easiest manageable resource in the game, and on top of that they get always have a move that restores it for them further giving them EVEN more of a crutch. I am fine with him being mobile, I am fine with him having burst, what I am not fine with is the fact that i have to sacrifice my entire early/mid game building an item on me that doesn't help me in the slightest other than me not dying to him every 90 seconds. This kind of "counterplay" is what Riot kept complaining about when nerfing LeBlanc and others, all mostly being AP mages. But when it comes to AD assassins Riot and players alike think Zhonya's is the cure-all, save-all when it isn't. Zed, Talon and the like can build item 3155 by early game, giving favorable stats, is not going to hurt their build or early game, and completely negate mages combo. MAGES GET NOTHING LIKE THIS. That is the issue. Everyone says there is counterplay but in reality...there isn't. It's just when Riot says there is everyone believes them.

Katarina If she jumps in to ult, she has no way to get out if she doesn't get her reset, and one form of CC can immediately stop her ult.

There's one. Who else has two escapes like Zed? Talon, he has his jump and ult. But you can easily put a pink in his ult and bam CC him and dead. That's counterplay there. Nidalee has her one jump and a heal that has high CD. Kat has one jump. Akali has her shroud, and no if she's using her ults to all in she won't have any to use to get out. Ahri isn't an assassin. Yasuo has his one wall and only his dash to use on minions.

Zed jumps from his shadow then ults onto you? He can just blink back with his second escape and even if you turn on him he will most likely get away with little health while you die. Not much counterplay there. You Zhonya to escape the pop damage? He just waits it out then throws a Q and dead. Counterplay useless there.

See how frustrating that is?

Either he just spams W-Q after you've beaten him up a little with spells and AAs or he zones by existing. The whole laning aginst Zed is tower huging in most matchups because he is insanely strong. Great - I countered my lane opponent - he can do everything he usually does - I sit here pushed into my tower (no Mana, no manareg, no CDR, less AP = impossible waveclear) and waiting for my team to not screw up. :)

Best game of my life. <3

And btw.. Pinging missing never works... It didnt work in S2 Silver it didnt work in S3 Gold.. S4 Plat or S5 Diamond.... warding is the only possibility to keep an opponent from roaming... HF keeping a lane warded in S6...................................

I find it easier to ward in s6 unless there changing it again and yes pinging dose you may need 2 ping more then once. And if zed or any champ carries the team that doesn't mean that there op that mean the player was better then you end of the story

Ok, did I say anything about Zed OP or called for Zed nerfs? No. Because Zed is kinda balanced over all. I merely answered your original question: Q: Why do people hate Zed? A: Because playing against Zed is the worst Lane-Experience League offers. (multiplied by Zeds high Pick-Rate, btw.)

And this is still a game, and I play games to have some fun, that's why I hate Zed and consider him the most toxic assassin in the game!

Additionally... ... mh... .. how do I put this... ... WARDING IN S6 IS EASIER THAN BEFORE?!?!?!?!?!? What on ERATH are you smoking and where can I buy it? They nerfed Yellow Trinket and removed Stealth Wards from Shop!!!

and you can easily kill the ward he most likey farming so if he looks like he going to all in you just back up and and get it later when you have no dying minions

and about warding the buffed the starting ward you get 2 on the same cooldown item 2043 you need to place once in the right bush and your good

And when we do get Zhonya's, he just waits it out then spams Q and we die anyway. Yay for counterplay that doesn't even work!

His "skill shots" are easier to land than most. Rushing boots does nothing besides maybe avoid a little poke. Offers nothing to help our damage.

Zed can mess up as much as he wants and tp back. While Kata isn't that easy to counter Talon is a far more healthy assassin by default.

I've never said that he is OP or there is no counterplay. I actually find Zed challenging to use and I know that he requires some skill to be put at work. It doesn't deny though that he is also one of the easily safest melee assassin of the bunch.

Yes, ekko can run to safety and heals back but he doesn't have a point and click kill combo. Rengar is oneshotting machine but I've had less toruble killing him back than doing the same with zed.

Other than Rengar, I disagree. (F that guy, it's BS to be able to kill someone in literally one second)

Talon has to all-in. If he isn't smart, get gets stuck in the enemy team. Kat is a sitting duck during her ult. One hard CC and she dies. Zed is almost impossible to target during his ult. Fizz has to melee opponents, Zed can poke away from a safe distance.

Maybe because has the most complicated mechanics of them all and a good zed is hard to keep up with and can just outplay you and own you. Same goes for leblanc, her mechanics are really inteanse and fst paced. the difference is that, Zed has no actual cc apart from a slow while leblanc can root you. Also, Zed can kill you with his deathmark even if you heal up to full hp late game if he is fed enough and you are squishy, just by ramping up the deathmark's damage. The majority of players are low elo and low elo players don't know how to deal with him and how to abuse him in lane and win against him.

Also you think everyone hated zed before, this patch with the new assassin item(duskbringer?) he is OP. Most ad assassins will be broken and banned a good percent of the time. This opens up doors for other champians such as mundo. Mundo may finally revisit the rift.

I used to play him, the reason hes banned is because of his burst, also his ult is bugged and it can crit. And last no mid laner likes versing him since he is so mobile.
