Ls goes on about viktor and then he talks about a meta the azir and viktor meta. It’s fair enough to say as he did, “it wasn’t as bad as people thought”

Id like to say this now and I’m going to state clearly, 2 champions who had the ability to be played well and destroy assasins SHOULD NOT BE ROBBED OF THIER REWARDS WHEN LEARNED.

When Azir is good it's bad for literally every other champion in the game not just Assassins. He completely warps the game around him and destroys mid lane. Assassins can't beat him, Mages can't beat him, AP Bruisers definitely can't beat him. Nobody can beat him unless the player is super bad. It becomes exponentially worse in higher elos and pro play.

He invalidates basically all of the mid lane champion pool and the only champs that you can pick against him are the ones that he doesn't totally shit on. You just gotta hope that you can survive laning phase against him and help your team later on. When he's good he's basically a ranged AP version of Pantheon only he is one of the best scaling champions in the game.

While I'd take that meta over the present meta, your totally right. I'd often (and still do) take AP Kog into him because I can farm from a mile away and can do damage from a mile away, or someone like Ziggs. Azir though with the right team around him can just totally dominate the game and unless you can kill him will win you the game.

Except an azir. Can be bursted with the current assasins.. also adding the fact he wasn’t even in the meta at all. It’s like you all don’t only reason azir becomes strong in pro play is when he has someone to safe guard him. It’s like you’ve not reached the level to beat an azir. When it’s so SIMPLE. Azir doesn’t make every champion useless there was a reason faker lost with azir and it was due to someone playing a hyper assasin which was zed.

It’s better when azir’s in the meta then fucking talon b/c atleast pre 6 an azir can and will run out of mana plus the fact, his cool downs are so stupidly long.

Counter argument: Azir's a hyper scaler with a kit that gives him an OBNOXIOUSLY strong laning tool and two disengage options. How is ANY meta with him on top of it even remotely desirable?

It's like if Zed was as strong as he is in lane, but he became a late game carry as well. Think about how blatantly obnoxious that is.

Reverse statement: who said you had to buff Azir early. The main thing that makes him scary is the built in steroid. Why don’t you revert azir cut the range by 100 on q, make ap ratios on e w q all .7 ? And return the e knock up... what else is there left.

Wat? Azir has been meta multiple times. That's why he has been nerfed so much. It's not hard to beat/go even with Azir with most champions when he's weak, but when he's strong nobody beats him in laning phase. He is insanely obnoxious to try to fight and hyper scales into the late game when he is good.
