Maw of Malmortious

Is Maw going to get gutted in the tank update? Riot has stated they don't want Assassin's buying it and Assassin's are still buying it regardless. I mostly play immobile mages mid and top and this item is really hard to deal with on Zed and Talon. The item is also a core offender in the recent tank Shaco build. They already have crazy mobility and damage. Why do they need Shields and large amounts of MR. At least edge of night is a bit more fair because it's a manual activation but maw just gives them a steroid and a shield whenever they are about to die. I have heard talk of Tanks getting a special stat in the update. Like how Assassin's have Lethality. Please play nice in the comments.
