A comeback isn't likely. Just quit or ff at 20 ranked or not. It's not worth it going threw another 20 mins that will you lose. You can't win every game.

Depends. I hate the fact of ff at 20. It is a poor excuse to quit. Not a good example to be leading. Do you quit something in real life because you don't think it is going to work? Or do you try to exhaust every option to win? Pull your team together. In most cases on here trying to convince them is harder then anything. Sometimes you have to ignore them and split push solo and open something up and give them hope and yet that's hard. Ff at 20 doesn't help your win loss ratio. I would rather loose fighting. I have done comebacks never thought would happen and I have had bad games by being out played or running a champ they want to make sure can't get going so gank all game and little to no support. I do however think if it is a toxic game or afk then put that into consideration. U have not loss until the nexus is taken.

Look, that a bunch of BS. A lot of games are loss right from the start. When you have no teamwork or no ganking and the other team does, it's game over. So, just quit and go to the next game. Why not? Why waste time for 20 to 30 mins and end up with the same result?

I am going by how "my games" shake out. I am not willing to take multiple kills because someone else has to learn. They should already have a team concept, my ranked matches shouldn't suffer because of them. I don't need a carry but I don't need dead weight or burdens either.

Nothing positive is happening in my games, why would I lie about being happy about my progress in this game? You rather I make people like you feel better. It's a waste because we are going to lose anyway.

If your willing to take a loss in rank then why not make it worth while and try even if your pea brain tells you different. It won't hurt promise. You must be so God like to play with. Am I a factor? Yes. But if they feed, I will get hunted down 2 vs 1 or 3 vs 1 and die myself. So in the end it doesn't matter what I do. Losing hurts and it sucks. But it's easy to give advice when you don't constantly get crap teams, right?

Lol this fool thinks he's the only one who gets bad teammates. It must be really rough man, knowing that someone on Rito is constantly on the lookout for you playing ranked so they can custom-match you with those pesky cardboard 7 players. It's only you who has to deal with teammates that messes up, you poor soul.

Judging by your match history, you aren't innocent of hardcore feeding yourself. You should look in the mirror before posting yet another rage post, it's getting kind of ridiculous at this point. Focus on bettering your own B5 booty instead of blaming your teammates for every loss, I believe adults call this "maturity".

I get crap teams like it is going out if style with this wonderful matchmaking system. But it doesn't change my mind it actions. What I said I truly believe in and practice. Not winning when you have the tools to do it sucks. So does uneven matches. But if someone doesn't try, we will fail the system. Do you really want to see that as the new norm?

Late game is significantly different than early-mid game, especially 20 minutes. I really don't surrender until the 30-35min mark if we are that far behind

Maybe it is, but it's based on the reality of the games I am playing.

The "reality" of the game you're playing is that it has different power spikes. A team that is 3/15 by 20 minutes is able to come back and become 17/20 and eventually 25/22 and have objectives. Late game is arguably the most important part of the game, and anyone willing to surrender without at least trying to reach it almost never has the bigger picture in mind.

2 out 4 of my games. Someone feeds hard, usually mid lane. That makes my chances to win much slimmer.

Yes, it does, but the chances of the enemy team messing up is still the same. Whether the adc is caught out of place, or their mage runs oom, or your amumu lands a 5-man ult into your mf's ult. There is almost always a decent chance you can win.

Don't be one of those players that is constantly spamming the surrender button, and complaining in chat. That's toxic behavior and makes the game unenjoyable for your teammates. If you don't do that then great, if you do then you should stop.

My point is that at 20minutes the game is almost never decided. No team's fate is set in stone by 20minutes, as you are barely through your mid-game spikes and most people don't even have half their build by then. There are plenty of powerspikes and chances to win between 20 and 40minutes, and to be ready to surrender @ 20 most of the time shows a lack of understanding of the game.

^^I agree with this. Regardless of whether you see yourself as some sort of realist, it's still not always a good idea to surrender your efforts so quickly. IMO, comebacks are only truly made impossible when your resolve dies out and you quit completely.

I've had so many games where the team wants to ff at 20 but then after a failed surrender, subsequent great team fight, we win. Just cause it doesn't look so good, don't just give up. Watch the IMT DIG game for inspiration.

And that's a 1/20 shot you winning that game. I would rather now hope and wish a bad team all of a sudden becomes good. I have played enough games to know when we are going lose. No video of someone else way above my skill level doing things I cannot do yet is going to help or inspire me.

I can usually see it coming at the selection or 5 minutes in. But doesn't mean nothing. If it does then well it does. And 1 in 20 far fetched and even if still 1 win you would not have gotten otherwise.

Its the best feeling ever to pull off a comeback or fight to the finish. Every time the ff, that's more if a waste if time then anything.

2 of my last 4 games have been comeback wins(1 of them when were down 9k by 20 and 13.6k at worst). I really feel like the original statement doesn't hold true.

And man do you feel good about winning those kind of games.

until you lose comes on the screen every game is potentially winnable. if you dont play the game to try to turn the potiential into reality why are you here. and even if you dont win you should enjoy the journey as if match making is working you should only be winning 40--45% of your games (when you surrendering you end up around 30%) over all if you dont enjoy just playing you still end up wasteing most of the time you play cause you consider every game you dont win easily wasted time

Wrong if you have games, (like I do) where the mid feeds and within 10 mins they are 0-5, The game is over unless the rest of the team can makeup the difference. I don't enjoy losing the at all. Especially when it's the same way. I enjoy winning and playing. Losing is never fun.

I've won games that werent fun, I've lost games that were fun. If you spend your time saying that games that you lose arnt fun cause you lost them ultimately you loseing most of your games so ultimately you wasteing your time. While if you find the 'play' of the game fun you are playing every game so almost every game you play can be fun.
