Do you guys think Taliyah's E is a bit too good?

It's just a Ziggs E on steroids.
Since her ultimate has no damage, she is ought to have power in her main kit. She is also fairly low range.
I think she has enough weaknesses. Although her biggest weakness is probably a bad player.
Cool cool.
Considering it doesn't do a lot of damage unless you land her knockup or someone dashes through it... It's probably fine.
Is this a joke?
Nope. I'm not calling out for any nerfs. I just want to hear what other players think about Tali's E. Nothing more, nothing less.
I think it's perfectly fair, despite other burst mages, (*cough *cough annie, Entirely too easy), she has a very fair kit. Her e has pretty specific requirements for damage. Wait tiil it's timer runs out, dash or get displaced through it. It has damage that is very deserving for its concept.

It's really annoying to play against as a melee though, she doesn't even have to hit her W (which is a little large for what's basically a Blitz hook, cept better) because in order to go in you need to take damage from it.
Although, from Taliyah's point of view, it can be difficult to predict where that champ is going. The way the skillshot is set up opens the door for melee champs to screw things up for the Taliyah. Also, most other mages also have a way to stop melee attackers (Azir: e, Ryze: w, Syndra: w, etc). This is part of her way to stop such attacks. Ziggs could be worse. His e has a lot more freedom in terms of landing a hit and his w is like a portable blastcone.

You just kinda throw it in front of you... it's big... They have to run around it otherwise.
Also Azir's E doesn't really screw melees, especially because if they're on him, he stops instead of dashing away and gets a shield. The difference between this and Ryze and Syndra W is that it hurts a hell of a lot more.
Ziggs is worse, but at least his E is smaller and doesn't do as much damage.
I should explain the melee's chance of screwing up taliyah. Most, if not, all melee champs have a reliable way to get to their target. whether it be high move speed (which doesn't trigger taliyah e), blink (<<same story), or dash. the dashes are able to be used in a way to, bait out the taliyah e (which honestly shouldn't be hard, her e is usually on the player's mind a lot, I main her), and actually dash or blink or get to her. Also, for the azir thing, similar to how a skilled yas can get out of sticky situations with his e, a skilled azir can do the same. Also, dashes tend to be on a lot of strong champions, not OP, but strong. Yas, Ahri (I know she's not a melee, but she does tend to be at a medium range with her target),Xin Zhao, etc. Not a lot of champions (as a whole) can make them not want to engage. Taliyah is great at doing that. When you look at the devs perspectives, there should be at least one champion that is good at stopping something.

Then why doesn't it stop them, well, with grounding or a snare or stun? Why's it gotta have huge damage?
Because it's HER damage. her damage doesn't tend to come entirely from her q. Her q is much better for poking, w e is better for all-in damage. Her q is often unreliable because of the whole "worked ground" concept. You still max it first, but it's not her greatest damage.

Then why does it hurt so much, also with a really short cooldown once maxed (3 seconds!)
And why is the majority of her damage either reliant on facing a melee with a dash or hitting W.
Thinking Taliyah is the only outlier to other champs is wrong. Why does Yasuo ult continue even if he gets cc'd? Why does Leblanc burst leave little to no counterplay? Why does Kassadin get very frequent blinks compared to other champs? Why don't gp's barrels get reduced by % armour? How come Fizz ult can take 2/3 of your health at lv 8? because that's how these champs work.
