AP items updates are frustrating

Read over the item updates and it seems like all the new items are just going hurt alot of AP champions. Like WOTA(Will of the ancients) was removed! Can riot explain as to why this item was removed?? That is Vladimir'sVladimir bread and butter. Not exclusive to himself, as Swain, Annie, fiddlesticks will build the item from time to time, i even build it on Ahri from time to time. So can we get some context on Hextech gunblade? Is this item healing champions for 15% of all damage dealt including ap abilities or just ad damage? If so, this still hurts valdimirs and akali's early game sustain. Revolver just deals damage on auto attack. So AP champions who prefer to heal now have to wait til they complete this item and when they buy revolver they get some boosted damage on active now opposed to just some 12% spell vamp. OK.

And then zhonyas hourglass? Why is this item being nerfed? Losing 30 AP for 10% CDR with no armor stat buff and the active cool down is 120 seconds. How is AP champions supposed to survive or skirmish VS AD champions who already have low counterplay since all they have to do is AA for the kill?? When AD champions have loads of items that grant them tons of damage with passives that save them from AP spells like Hexdrinker and maw of malmortius, steraks, QSS. Not including Heavy MR items, like banshees, spirit visage and high health stats like warmogs, randuins, black cleaver and sunfire cape. Just how is AP supposed to deal with all this?

Then to add more insult to injury, rod of ages base ability power was nerfed by 20. Why can't AP champions in tanky situations have health and abit more AP? It's as if your reducing the little bit of survivability AP champions have to choose from. When AD/tank champions have tons of items that give them sustain, tankiness and raw damage. This is far from balanced.

Above all abyssal scepter is receiving a 10% CDR buff and how much more magic resist at the cost of 10 AP Nerf?? This item is usually added to morellonomicon so why does this combo get 30% CDR? Especially when AP champions who rush this item make it almost impossible for enemy AP laner to fight. Since they deal true damage to you and take very little damage in return. If anything the AP of this item needs to be toned Down a lot more than it was. Mid laners especially but Junglers and tanks abuse this item, to deal true damage and to reduce the enemy AP burst potential. How is this balanced? This item should be a niche pick for heavy AP comps not just to be Magic resist tanky while dealing true damage.

Then item's that should've been given 10% CDR is ludens echo. Just I have no idea what is going on. But all these changes need further discussion and a second if not a third look at.

You do understand they are reworking Vlad so he can be played without his old bread and butter.

I nor any vlad player can rely on Riot's decision making clearly. They say they will add sustain to his kit. But in the meantime, he and akali and other champions who like early game or even late game sustain are going to be hit hard.

zhonyas nerf is the most stupid thing that riot ever did

I couldn't agree more! Certain champions build it as their core as they basically need it. While others use the item for sticky situations like vs AD heavy comps AD assassins or for some survibility vs various things. Just the survivability and realibility of the item is now horrible and needs to be looked at. Too many AD/Tank items that allow low counterplay + survivability and the few AP survivability items we do have are being hit with a metal nerf bat.
