One thing to consider before you say the game is too snowbally and/or you have no influence

What elo are you playing at? Seriously, the amount of complaints about not having influence or games being snowbally then hovering over them and finding out they're silver/ gold is sickening. This is a new version of "my team is holding me back".

Sure, I get it. There are games in which you think you played flawlessly. However, you're just placing how you played relative to how your team played, or relative to the average play in your mmr. News flash- playing slightly better than your elo a game or two does not guarantee you a victory. That extra 30 cs you have over you lane opponent does not mean jack in the grand scheme of themes. That 3/0 scoreline does not matter either if you are losing.

So what matters? Keeping an honest look at what your win conditions are. How? Setting up vision whenever possible to take advantageous trades to claw your way back into the game helps. If you are playing someone like zed, go off into the sidelane to kill that adc farming alone. If you're not strong enough, bring a buddy. But what you can't do is roll over and lose. You have to make efforts to capitalize on the enemy's poor execution on plays, because in low elo almost every play will be poorly executed. The enemy maokai burns his ulti while trying to push a tower? Poke or engage, and ping your team to follow up. Enemy pushed down mid but their 12/0 azir went to farm bot? Engage. These mistakes will happen almost every game in low elo.

I saw these posts and honestly believed that they were true. I heard the complaints and thought that "the game is decided off of the worst teammate". I fell into a playstyle where my stats were fine, but my team would lose, and I just accepted it because that's how I thought the state of the game was. I did not realize that this narrative being perpetuated by people at my mmr is false. I only saw the light because of a promo series in which I told myself I was not going to lose, and through all odds, I managed to singly handedly carry 1 game and almost carry another. If you think that you don't have an impact, think again. I'm not saying that every game is winnable, or that you as a player can carry every game at this moment, i'm saying that in order to become a better player and climb, you have to be able to push through those games where everyone wants to open and find the win.

Common sense dictates that if your better then your elo your team has an advantage in 100% of the games you play. If this advantage does not translate into higher wins, you need to check to see if its actually there. For a weak player will disadvantage their team 100% of games they are on. If you think your good strong etc, but unable to over a long string of games not convert that advantage into wins. You should rethink your skill.

Course no one wants to hear they are bad or be told they are unskilled. So we find reasons that explain away losses that sound more reasonable. Then they maintain the same play pattern and expect better results?
