What champ should I play on Midlane?

So the midlaners I curently play are

I want to know what champ should I play on Mid when:

My team has 2 tanks (standard comp)
When my team is all fairly squishy like top sup and some squishy or bruiser jungler and we don't have initiation.
Our comp lacks any form of CC. (Yes just SoloQ things :/) And last what is the strength of my champs individually and in what team comp they can fit in. I will appreciate every reply thanks! gl hf

Yea I love feeding and dead teemos that are useless after 30 minutes, but I have damn fun time on normals with it xD

For Mid lane, if your team is missing a tank there isn't a lot of options to really pick but honestly...I'm surprised that we never see Galio making a comeback. With everyone always wanting to be a carry like champion, and teams start to lack a tank, having a Galio mid as an Off-tank can be so strong. Plus he as possibly one of the strongest CC in the game being his ultimate and can survive into a lot of mid lane match ups. Though...if you haven't really played him much then I'd suggest not bother with learning him now since he is getting a rework very soon (I believe he is next) but if you have played him before I think he would be a good champion to play in this meta. Though not entirely sure if Courage would be good on him since his only hard CC is his ultimate and he doesn't take to much damage in his ult anyways so might be better to stick with Deathfire.

Basically my suggestion for Mid-lane champions for you would be...

If team has no Tanks: Chogath Galio Gragas OR play a mage that likes building HP to be some what an Off-tank

If team is lacking hard CC/Initiation: Annie Kennen Lissandra Morgana Orianna Ryze Zyra

issue is with galio he is at best a counter pick mid ... and better vs heavy ap comps or heavy ap burst like annie, le blanc. he is melee ranged autos... and has high mana cost on his abilities. he is the ap version of rammus.

cho is immobile. has easily telegraphed skills, and pushes lanes easily making him easy to be ganked...

gragas use to be an ap mage bruiser before he went jungle back in season 4 and earlier... he can be ok... but they have nerfed him hard of late.

a champ people are over looking who has high damage , and great team fight and can be built off tank is Rumble

another good pick would be Swain

and if you wanna counter an ad assassin mid learn Urgot

or Malzahar

you sound a bronze or silver and imo its better not to play ranked than to be ranked as either of those

When your team lacks CC or tanks, I'd recommend picking someone capable of catching out targets, disengaging fights and/or initiating.

Some decent choices would be Lux, Morgana, Orianna, Lissandra, Lulu and Kennen.

Basically, shield someone on your team who wants to jump into the enemy team and turn them into an initiator.

Following up on a CCed team may be more reliable and stronger, but it is a decent substitute if your team doesn't have initiation.

I'm not even kidding. Having great success with it in games where my botlane doesnt go 0/12.

Consider the meta. Bursty champs and roamers gallore. Enter a tank that will just take your tower if you dare leave lane (and even if you don't by shoving you in and letting zz minions chip tower), that actually is able to poke you down and all in you. And that has sustain and shields to survive theirs. And has much better teamfight contribution than an assassin.

Also, his waveclear is great. So he can roam and support lanes and the jungler plenty himself.

Just....takes a bit of getting used too. (don't play against cho, and other champs with silences and such, cancels Q)

Gangplank Probably the best champion in the game if mastered . BTW if you are interested in playing GP look up Tobias Fate on YT or watch his streams, guy is a beast with
