Azir's poke damage hurts like hell

Why is his range and poke damage hurtful early game df? He even pokes you down all the way to your turret and not even being right next to your turret helps.

At level 1, he's very weak and unless he drops a soldier on top of you, you're fine. Take advantage then. At level 2 and beyond, he will use Q to zone you. Be aware that Q has a longish cooldown early on. Wait until he uses it against something other than you and then use your own spells, knowing he briefly can't reposition himself.

Azir is pretty much the best lane bully right now...

go ask a jungler to force him to use E to retreat and lose mana, so hopefully he needs to back before you do.

Once he gets mana sustain you are better off ganking or asking for legitimate kill-ganks from jungler, because at that point you aren't staying in your lane for very long.

Azir is a VERY strong and underrated champion but doesn't see much play because of how buggy he is. Once he sees more play people will realize how good he really is.

ikr. i love Azir. he can poke for days. but he runs low on mana fast, and with enough sustain, it would even matter.
