I don't know if this is a bug which is why it's in gameplay but I haven't received a chest in about 3 weeks and it says on my profile i need to wait 2 days, but it's said that forever now. I got an S a few times and it never gives me a chest. I have like 3 keys now. Am I supposed to be doing something else?

AlienPrimate1 votesThe 2 days until your next chest is for if you get frequent S's on multiple champions. If you get 4 S's on different champions, your next one on a new champion won't give you a chest. You have to wait until you can get another one, even on first time played champions.
Mysticman891 votesYou can only earn 1 chest per champ per season, and you can only earn one of those when you have a chest available to be earned (up to a max of 4 at once), which is what the time until next chest thing signifies.
You can earn the S ranks in any mode, so ARAM or SR or whatever else all count. If someone in your premade earns an S rank, you'll also get the chest for the champion you're currently using provided you haven't already earned your chest for that champ during this season.
This does assume you're eligible for loot though, if you've been punished recently you're locked out of getting chests until you demonstrate to the system that you've reformed.
This Is Your Dad1 votesI seem to be still in good standing, but it says on my profile I have two days until my next chest with 0 as the number I have. It just now went down to 1 day for a chest but I haven't been getting any in a while so I wonder if they reset to 0 if I don't get them?
Mysticman891 votesThe available chests won't go down, and will sit at 4 indefinitely if you stockpile that many potential chests.
Doing a big of digging, you've earned 30 mastery chests so far this season, which would be close to the max possible (I'm at 31 having generally earned them as soon as they become available), and so if your next becomes available tomorrow then it looks like you've been earning them pretty consistently even if you haven't realised it.
This Is Your Dad1 votesOh. Maybe it's just the sudden surge of keys I'm getting for "sportsmanlike behavior" that has me with 3 keys and a fragment all of a sudden that I absolutely can't use right now.
Mysticman891 votesIf you bought any fragments (either from the VS event using tokens or with RP), that'd also throw off the chest/fragment ratio.
(I also have no idea how consistent you were in the previous season, so if you sat on 4 potential chests for awhile last season that'd also shift you to having more keys than chests.)
